The main difference is in the active ingredient. The One Shot system uses TGA (Thioglycolate) to break down the sulfide bonds in the lash. The Profusion system uses CHC (Cysteamine Hydrochloride) to break down the bonds. The Profusion system is more gentle with less chance for over processing. The other main difference is in the timings. The Profusion timings are almost twice as long as the One Shot. There are also some application technique differences. With the One Shot you perform a dry removal of step 1 and also a wet removal of step 1. With the Profusion system you only perform a dry removal of step 1.
